“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”
So that classic Christmas song tells us and here in London it certainly seems to be just that.
Streets beautifully lit with their festive lights, shop windows filled with gorgeous Christmas themed displays, Christmas markets and what seems like an ice rink on every corner!
London is a great place at any time of the year but I particularly like just wandering around at Christmas taking photo’s and soaking up the festive atmosphere. Here’s a few (well quite a few) snaps of the capital at Christmas.
Covent Garden is a favourite of mine with its great boutique shopping and beautiful decorations.

The Christmas lights around central London are always a popular attraction at this time of year.
To finish off here’s a few shots of some more festive scenes around London.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my little glimpse into how London celebrates Christmas. Watch out for my upcoming posts on Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland and Skate at Somerset House.
